Ela Czerewacka

General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Ela Czerewacka is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of NAYA Biosciences.

She is a seasoned multilingual attorney with over 25 years of experience advising clients on domestic and international transactions, corporate governance, and clinical trials. Her legal background spans top-tier law firms, financial institutions, in-house representation, and individual clients.

Throughout her career, she has been involved in the following, among other things: From 2009 to present, she has been counseling and representing clients globally on various legal, corporate governance, and compliance matters and providing outsourced general counsel services in the biotech industry, being responsible for all legal affairs of sponsors of clinical trials for cancer treatments in various indications. Her recent clients include, without limitations: Cytovia Therapeutics from March 2023 to present and Steba Biotech S.A. from 2015 to November 2022. From 2004 to 2009, she was a General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Renova US Management LLC (Columbus Nova Private Equity Fund) in New York. From 2000 – 2003 she was a Senior Associate at White & Case in London. From 1998 – 2000 she was an Associate in the Office of General Counsel at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development in London.  

She received a Master of Laws in International Business and Trade Law from Fordham University School of Law, New York, NY, and a Master of Law from the University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland. She has been a New York State Bar Association member for over 20 years.
